About Us
APRIL 2010
We started in April 2005. We are celebrating our 5th year in Dunlavin this month.
Next month our responders will be doing a revalidation/upskilling to include aspirin cover and stroke recognition. In association with the Irish Heart Foundation we are also applying to become a Heartsafe Community. The Heart Foundation awards heartbeats for every step involved in strengthening the Chain of Survival and we are halfway towards the process. The more people in our community that can perform CPR the more lives will be saved.
Wicklow Community First Responders provide training twice a year usually in April & October. We have just completed 2 days of training for new responders in Laragh. Our next training date will be updated once available. Here is our Job Descriptions check it out!
